Performance management is the foundation of a organization's development in bringing work efficiency, which contribute to superior production and service delivery within the company. Good performance management helps bring job satisfaction to employees, which stimulates the emergence of talents and innovation that help in achieving strategic goals set by the company.
However, there have been significant challenges facing performance management, leading many organizations to fail to achieve the strategic set. These challenges include unclear goals and objective, biased or infrequent feedback, poor communication between employer and employee, use outdated system. The possible solution to these challenges is to establish clear goals and objectives, implement continuous feedback, utilize technology and train managers.
